DSC Consulting follows a process methodology.

The DSC Iterative Step Method includes the following components:
1 Discover: Understanding the project, stakeholders and roles and responsibilities of all participants. Discover the structure needed to manage the project, create all required project-planning documents and identify the business problems and metrics that determine the success of the project.
2 Define: Defining requirements and expectations. Document functional, technical, data, capacity, architecture, performance and training requirements as they relate to the systems. Gap/Fit analysis may be done to highlight any differences between the requirements and standard features available in an appropriate solution. Identify custom functionality and required interfaces.
3 Develop: Development of a solution to meet the identified business requirements. Customize the system specification, data migration/conversion, unit and integrated/acceptance test plan. Develop code, application logic execution flows, and detailed customized component descriptions for configured components and data movement/migration scripts.
4 Pilot: Conference Room Pilot. Configure required extensions or external interfaces, and prepare for the deployment and necessary configuration of the solution. Assembly of a comprehensive test environment.
5 Validate: Validation of the application via continuous user involvement. Rediscover and redefine as necessary to ensure the solution meets the needs. Assist in extensive user acceptance testing, quality assurance and training.
6 Deliver: Delivery of the production pilot and necessary infrastructure. Final quality assurance and training. Complete promotion to full stage production.
7 Optimize: Optimize the environment to ensure the system is at peak performance. Completing post production tuning of the system and complete ownership transfer via knowledge transfer and option for extended support.
